The day-to-day running of the Crewing Department and together with the Managing Director, and the other Crew Department personnel, the Crewing Manager is to attend to the manning of the ships in management.
The Crewing Managers key tasks are but not limited to:
- Handling applications and maintaining a register of
applicants;
- Engagement of officers and ratings onboard managed
vessels;
- Visit vessels when needed;
- Various reporting concerning crew;
- Maintaining/following up the personnel register incl.
updating crew-lists - certificates etc.;
- Assisting masters in embarking / disembarking crew
members and travel arrangements;
- Payroll calculation including travel and courses expenses;
