Looking for a machine operator in a Dutch production company

Due to the growth of our company, we are urgently looking for motivated machine operators. We are looking for people with technical insight who like to roll up their sleeves. As an operator, you make sure the machines run and stay running. You are the hub of the production process. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the final product is produced in top quality. What can you expect when you start work as a machine operator?

You will be doing the following things:

• Operating, adjusting and converting the pallet lines and/or deck machine;
• As an operator, the machines of our workplace are your territory. Thanks to you, the machines keep running smoothly running;
• You want the production process to run smoothly every day. A breakdown does not fit into this picture. But you also know that all machines and systems crash from time to time. Fortunately, you recognise deviations quickly and know how to solve them. You often solve minor malfunctions yourself, while larger failures you report to your manager;
• No production without the machines. That is why, as an operator, you perform maintenance and cleaning your machines from time to time. This way, you try to stay ahead of most breakdowns;
• As an operator, you keep a close eye on the quality of the production process. Everything is of course everything revolves around a perfect end product, so that is what you aim for;
• Training new colleagues.

What are the job requirements:

• You see the work ahead and like to roll up your sleeves;
• You are willing to work in shifts;
• You have technical insight and/or knowledge of machinery;
• You have a proactive attitude and are stress-resistant;
• You have a good knowledge of the Dutch, German or English languages;
• Forklift experience is necessary.
