Salman here, from Pakistan. I have done Doctor Of Pharmacy (5 years bachelor's) from Nazeer Hussain University. Here's my experience and qualities:
I have worked in Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and my duties are:
Educated patients on appropriate use of prescription and OTC medications, including side effects, drug interactions, storage, and dosage regimens. Demonstrated proper techniques for using blood glucose monitoring, inhalation, and insulin delivery devices.
• Demonstrated strong clinical judgment and applied the latest disease state guidelines in consulting with physicians and making therapeutic recommendations to significantly improve patient outcomes.
• Engaged in outreach and promoted public health across the community; identified opportunities to administer immunization.
I have also worked in Patel Hospital for around 2 years and my duties are:
Collaborated with hematologists/oncologists, advanced practice providers, and other clinical staff to provide patients with individualized
treatments utilizing the most recent and relevant evidence. Evaluated and interpreted drug-related information and identified, resolved, and prevented medication-related problems, including subtherapeutic dosage, overdose, drug-drug interactions, drug-disease interactions, adverse reactions, inaccuracies, and inappropriateness. Conductedcomprehensive medication review and/or medication reconciliation.
Processed new and refill therapies. Oversaw pharmacy technician and staff activities.
