I am an HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with over 3 years of professional experience. I have a solid educational background combined with a wide range of laboratory skills. This includes the knowledge of regulatory bodies, quality requirements and method validation in the laboratory. I participate in a lot of out of hour’s service showing my ability to manage a huge amount of workload and my capability to work under a significant amount of pressure. I am dealing with clients daily ensuring the results are exported within the turn-around-time, and that service users are always updated on any delays. Also, I train and supervise other members of staff on extraction and real-time PCR of COVID-19 samples and analysis/authorization of results. I am competent in the maintenance and operation of QuantStudio5 and Bio-Rad analysers and analysis, results interpretation and validation of COVID-19 results. I am well experienced in using Fastfinder, Blueberry and Agilent software and different types of LIMS systems.
